System and Parental Units

Today, it is official. We are now part of the system. When Facebook first launched in February of 2004, we wasn’t a fan. We didn’t understand why anyone would want to be that exposed? Why would you want people to find you, especially the people you have been trying to avoid for the greater part of your life? To us, it was too much of a hassle. We figured, we know who our friends are and if we had a question or wanted to catch up we would call them and not write something on their wall.

Well, we are here to say that we were mistaken. Now, dont’ get us wrong, we still haven’t joined Facebook but this blog is our comprise to the social media world. As a matter of fact, we owe our good friend Jamie Gibson a drink or something because after reading her blog, we were hooked. So, THANK YOU JAMIE!!

Now that we got that off our chest, we feel much better:) So, on with the show!

Today, our parent’s are celebrating 32 years of marriage. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! We have been blessed to have such wonderful parents and can honestly say that the world would not be the same without these two. Thank you for always being so kind, generous, and patient with each other because your example is truly infectious.

So, CHEERS for kicking ass and staying strong!
