Christmas circus

Let the madness begin!

It’s t-minus six days until Christmas, and we have at least four thousand, nine hundred and eighty seven tasks to complete before then. Okay, we might be exaggerating by a couple hundred, but either way we look at our list, there’s a TON of stuff to do before we leave town on Thursday! Annnnddd……. breatheeeeeeeee. Why does this time of year make people go bonkers? We're surprised there’s not an express lane setup outside the local loony bin for all the Christmas crazies. If the North Pole had it their way, they would put all the pepper spraying, Christmas spirit downers away until after the holidays. Am we right? Right.

Moving on… Today at work an elf left us a present on our desk. You have no idea how ecstatic we were that it wasn’t some form of cookie, brownie, or toffee. We think we have eaten our weight in sugary delights these past couple of weeks. What is it with people at work and giving large mounds of chocolates as a gift? Don’t get us wrong we love chocolate, but damn, can’t we give mix it up and get an Amazon gift card instead? Or hell, even a Snuggie? Anyways, our memorable and fantastic co-worker Brian gave us a personalized ornament that his wife Mary made. Have we ever mentioned that Brian and Mary were high school sweethearts as well as K-State grads? Coolest couple EVER! Since it was snowing after work, we decided to bypass running in the park and headed to the gym instead. We haven’t done body pump since July so we figured we would give it a go. The class was way more fun this time around. We credit Jennifer for kicking our tookus over the last three months at boot camp. Push ups and lunges are now done with much more ease. Once home we started to work on dinner, which we would love to tell you about, but it’s the star of this weeks Foodie Fridays. Do you want a clue? Let’s just say it has a dash of Southern comfort. Any guesses? And with that, we are off to read! Amazon Santa arrived this afternoon. We can’t wait to dive into this series based on your suggestions! Have a wonderful evening!
