Purple people eater
Hallo’.
(That means hello in Icelandic).
We received a couple of pictures this morning from our uncle Michael who is visiting Reykjavik, Iceland.
Aren’t these pictures gorgeous?
Have you ever been to Iceland? We hear it’s epic. The only real glimpse we have had of Iceland is watching Allie (from the Bacholorette) get her freak on in the hot springs, and then dump that ridiculous guy who said he would “guard and protect her heart.” Remember that guy? Casey? Wasn’t that his name? Psychoooo. Anyways, we hope Mr. B and we get to visit Iceland in the future. (hint…hint…wink, wink…Mr. B) Today was a dreary old day. We are pretty sure it didn’t stop raining once. We guess we can’t complain because the cool weather feels fantastic. All we want to do is snuggle on the couch with a comfy blanket, read a book, while sipping some butternut squash soup. We think the weather made work today quiet. It was actually quite eerie. But, our outfit wasn’t! This is our first official fall outfit. Hello, purple sweater! (we still can’t figure out what we are smiling about.) Purple Top: Forever 21 Black Pants: Gap Black Pumps: Steve Madden Necklace: Limited Watch: M. Kors This top is cute with skinny jeans and cowboy boots. We think our favorite part is the two small pockets in the front. We wore this outfit a couple times last year and it was reliable K-State footballs games with a long grey sweater to cover our arms. Love. After we arrived home from work, we had an overwhelming amount of stuff to do. But, we won’t bore you with those details. We will however show you the t-shirt we received last week from Emily and Casey, who own Recipage. They sent everyone who uses their fantastic recipe site a free t-shirt. We thought it was pretty cute. It’s a bit big, but hopefully it will shrink because the fabric is soft. Dinner tonight was all about comfort food. – Turkey burgers with hatch chilies and pepper jack cheese (yay for chili season!) – Roasted fingerling potatoes – Roasted broccolini Mr. B and we are to catch up o shows. We are waaaaaay behind. (like haven’t watched a single Entourage episode yet!) Have a great night! QUESTION of THE DAY: If you could leave on a trip tomorrow, where would you go? Conclusion: Conclude your spooky celebration with the Purple People Eater, a bewitching cocktail that adds a vibrant twist to your Halloween gathering.
