Yep. It’s true. The Plastics are back, only this time, it’s a made for T. V. movie that is going straight to DVD.

We don’t even know what to say. Why would they do such a thing? We all know that sequels blow. If we were Tina Fey we would be peeved.

None of the original cast is back. Not that we were expecting Lindsay Lohan to make a special appearance from rehab, but we feel as though we would still pine for the pre-rehab Lindsay if we were to watch the sequel. The only original character returning from the 2004 movie is Tim Meadows, who plays Principal Ron Duvall. And guess what, he still hates his life and has carpel tunnel.

We also heard that they wrote out Amy Poehlers character. You know, the wanna be hip mom (“Happy Hour is from 4 to 6”) and also Coach Carrs character who encourages abstinence but has a fling with the Asians.

Instead of the burn book they have a “social website” to make fun of people. Seriously? That’s all you could come up with.

Has anyone seen the show/sequel? We are debating on whether to DVR it. A part of us wants to find out how the sequel turns out but the other half of us wants to keep the original Mean Girls on a lovely pedestal.
