On the road again!

Mr. B and we are bound for the Little Apple this weekend, or a place we like to call Manhappiness. Manhattan, KS has a special place in our heart. Not only is it the town of our college alma mater, but it’s where Mr. B and we fell in luvvvvvvv, and where we met our best gaggle of G-phi friends. We swear it’s the source of our existence.

Anyways, we are spending time with family, checking on the restaurants: Harry’s & Bourbon & Baker, and celebrating our father-in-law, who is getting inducted into the Engineer Hall of Fame at Kansas State University. So, it’s going to be a full, fun-packed weekend!

But before we dive into the weekend shenanigans, we thought we needed some giggle juice to warm us up. This Grapefruit Margarita with Ginger Salt Rim is completely inspired by our trip to Deer Valley. We had happy hour at the St. Regis and we ordered this margarita. We were a little skeptical because sometimes the marg we don’t exactly see eye to eye.

Our friend Erin ordered one, too. Well, our friends, this is now our go-to summer drink. Why we haven’t been ginger-salting our rim on every cocktail is beyond us. Plus, this margarita has all the usual suspects, i. e, tequila, but the splash of ginger beer make this drink Manhappiness approved.
