Girls, i’m going to harvard!
Holy turkey!
That’s right.
Holy turkey!
We are t-minus three days away from the big turkey feast, and we don’t know about you, but we have a zillion things to do before we stuff myself with Thanksgiving treats.
Mr. B and we are driving back to Kansas to spend the holiday with the Griswold’s. Oh yes, we are driving.
We usually fly because the eight hour car ride from Denver to Wichita isn’t feasible for a speedy weekend trip. However, since Mr. United got into the giggle juice and thought it was funny to charge people a $1000 for a one way ticket, we were forced to drive. (Seriously, who has the balls to charge someone a $1000 for a one way flight that’s only an hour long? Clearly they are off their meds.)
We were a little heated at first because sitting in a car for eight hours sounded like torture. But then, we looked at the bright side…ROAD TRIP! Who doesn’t love a good road trip? – “Like vacay?” (name that movie! – hint: the post title is from the same movie.) Mr. B even proposed taking the “back roads” instead of the usual we-70 path to mix things up. We see lots of random road sign pictures and a picnic in our near future. But in all honesty, a favorite part of this trip, we get to spend some quality time with Mr. B. Love that guy.
Alright, moving on…
Wait a minute.
How did that picture get there?
We actually forgot to share this picture with y’all last week! We convinced Jennifer to take a picture of us “Tebowing” boot camp. Hysterical. We think Tim Tebow would have been proud, don’t you? 😀 And speaking of boot camp, since Labor Day we have lost over 7% body fat! Holla! Even though we didn’t loose a single pound (that didn’t surprise us), what matters is that we replaced everything with muscle. We seriously can’t thank Jennifer enough for pushing our out of shape tookus into shape. We have never felt betters in our life, which is reliable timing because we won’t feel guilty eating that second piece of pie…. errrr…. or third. Dang it. Speaking of pie….. that reminds us, we need to get back to our list. Sigh. We hope your holiday week is off to a great start! See ya tomorrow!
Thankful Challenge: Day 21
Today we are thankful for the people that work at Waterway Car Wash because sometimes the thought of washing our car makes us want to pull our hair out.
