Fisizrecipes for the table

Yesterday we received some exciting news.

No, we're not preggers. Gah! Wouldn’t that be crazy town! (we think our heart just skipped a beat.) Don’t get us wrong, someday…. manyyyyyyy years from now, we would like to get pregnant. We get butterflies in our stomach thinking about Mr. B and we raising a family together. But for right now, we are just enjoying life as a couple. Okay. Where was we? Oh yes. The exciting news! Our friend Kaitlin got engaged! We literally jumped for joy when we heard the good news. Kaitlin is one of our good friends from college.

We were both Gamma Phi’s (Can you pick us out?).

We were roommates our senior year at the famous LeGore house (our landlord was a red-headed gypsy who tried to fine us for having a dirty driveway. whatevs)!

And she was one of our bridesmaids!

Wichita, KS 2007 Kaitlin is by far one of our favorite people on this earth. Her ability to eat whatever she wants (i. e. peanut M&M’s and Taquitos) and not gain a single pound is memorable. Her ability to perform the “worm” on any dance floor without any formal training baffles us to this day. But if we had too choose our favorite thing about Kaitlin it would be her drawing skills. Check it out:

Everyone in the Kaitlin circle of love received a drawing of themselves with a little diddy on the side back in college. We felt so cool when she gave us ours! We think the portrait representation is spot and on, and the jingle still fits us to a tee today! Anyways, we just wanted to say congrats to Kaitlin and John! The party is just gettin’ started! P. S. Kaitlin – Vegas for the bach party? Yes! P. P. S. Can you tell your mother to overnight some chicken tortilla soup to us? Oh and chocolate chip cookies too. That will be all. Thanks.
