A saturday mix

Today we were somewhat productive.

After brunch Mr. B helped us get our CB2 purchases put together. Nothing like an engineer putting together an abacus:)

While he put together the abacus wall art, we worked on laundry and re-organizing our closet. We have been putting this stuff off since ski season started so we were glad to get it done! We would have shown you before and after pictures of our new wall art but we didn’t charge our electric drill so we had a wall art fail. Oh well, Mr. B said he would finish it tomorrow. After we got things done around the apartment we walked around downtown to finish up some errands. We needed to find a gift for our grandpa’s 80th birthday party next weekend in KC. We think we found the reliable gift by the way. While we were walking around we spotted this tent. WTF. Top Chef was filming two blocks away and we had no clue!! AHHHH!!! We couldn’t believe it. How could we have missed such an awesome event? Balls. When we got home, we ran to the grocery store to pick up stuff for the week as well as dinner for tonight. Cooking dinner on Saturday night = a good glass of wine. While we prepped the sides, Mr. B cooked the steak. Tonight’s dinner: – Grilled Steak – Cauliflower with Mustard-Lemon Butter – Garden Salad with Dijon Vinaigrette Off to watch Mallrats and cuddle on the couch. See you tomorrow!
