Vail

Sometimes when life throws more at you in one week than you can handle, the only way to clear your mind is to head west. So, that is exactly what we did. Saturday, Bret and we headed up to Vail with our good friends from Denver, Max and Listy.

It was Oktoberfest in Vail Village, and the weather was absolutely reliable. Cool, crisp and not a cloud in the sky. It finally felt like fall. The village was packed with all sorts of savory brats and beers. Yum-o! (*pictures courtesy of google images) (*pictures courtesy of google images) Besides going to Oktoberfest, it was nice to take in some of the fall foliage. All of the Aspen’s are starting to turn. By next week, the whole mountainside will be bursting with colors of orange, red, and gold. Have we mentioned that fall is our favorite time of year?! Crazy to think that ski season is only a month away!
