Stud muffins vs my couch pull’s out, but i don’t

It’s Tuesday, do you know what that means?

KICKBALL, baby! Ahhhh…yeaaahhh.

Yep, the Stud Muffins are back again for another season of complete domination, beer drinking, and overall shenanigans. Kickball is one of our favorite things to do during the summer, not only because we get to hang out with the Denver village, but we get to bust out our sweet kicking skills. Okay, we don’t have sweet kicking skills but we can talk some trash. Hmm, maybe we shouldn’t admit that?

For those of you that don’t know, we play at Sunken Gardens which is about 5 miles south from our place. The fields aren’t a favorite, the refs make you want to stab yourself in the jaw, but the drama is fantastic. We do try to win, and sometimes our old school varsity mentality gets in the way, but at the end of the day we just try to have fun.

Anyway, tonight’s game was against our Couch Pull’s Out, But we Don’t. What? We almost peed our pants after we heard who we were playing. Come on, you have to admit it’s pretty funny. We didn’t know what to expect from our team since it was the first game of the season but let’s just say we played in style.

Well, we shouldn’t say everyone. This poor girl on the other team apparently missed the memo that wearing spandex is okay. Geesh. Talk about the wrong memo to miss.

We maintained the lead the entire time. Everyone kicked well and our defense was fierce. It felt great to start the season 1-0. Go Muffins!

After the game we headed to Moe’s for some BBQ. Love us some Moe’s.

They have savory pulled pork sandwiches! Mmmm…so juicy.
