Keeping it on the low

Happy Monday!

And so begins another week.

(Seriously, where does the time go?)

Did you have a good weekend? Anything crazy or wild happen? Anything you’re dying to tell us? No? Yes? Do tell?!

Our weekend was not to shabby. Friday, we rented a new camera lens (praise jesus!) for a week and activated our new iphone (double alleluia!). Saturday, we ran 12 miles, did some clay shooting and partied with friends at Oktoberfest. And Sunday, we lounged on the couch and took care of Mr. B.

But.

Even with all of those activities going on, we couldn’t stop thinking about our 10 year high school reunion. Why you ask? Well, apparently the reunion was this weekend back in Wichita, KS. Now, we say apparently because we never actually received a formal invitation or email about this event. Yep. There was no Facebook page, no mass emailing, no website, no blog, there was n-o-t-h-i-n-g.

The only way you would have known about the reunion is if you lived in Wichita or knew the person organizing the event. We found out through an old high school friend who we keep in touch with regularly, and she didn’t even go.

Am we crazy to think that’s just sad? Or is that normal behavior for a high school reunion? Does anyone even go to their 10 year reunion?

Alright, let’s talk about something fun.

We are so excited about our new iphone because that means brighter pictures in the bathroom! Wait. That could be bad. Eh, whatevs.

This morning we were freezing so we decided to put on a pair of wool pants (first of the season). You can call us crazy, but our office won’t turn off the air conditioning until December so our office is like an icebox.

Anyways, todays outfit is brought to you by: Swven – Where Looks Can Kill.

We were trying not to die of laughter or get caught taking this picture. What else are you going to do on a Monday? Our actual outfit looked like this… Black Top: Forever 21 Pants: Express Pumps: Steve Madden After work we went for a nice, simple three mile jog. Since the Aspen Half Marathon is on Saturday that means low mileage this week. Hip-Hip, Hooray! We are so ready for this race to be over because we are burnt out. Training chews up a ton of time and there are a zillion other things that we would be rather doing. Plus, our body needs a break. Tonight we are snuggling with Mr. B, while we watch How we Met Your Mother and the new Two and a Half Men. Any bets as to whether or not Ashton Kutcher pulls it off? We think he might. Adios!
