Gnocchi with feta is a creamy dish that’s surprisingly simple to mix! It starts with butter melted in a cast-iron skillet with the gnocchi, and sauteed until golden brown.
Toss with whipped feta cream and the usual Greek suspects – olives, tomatoes, mint, cucumber, red onion, and more feta.
Afterwards, you may or may not let out a little, “OPA!” as you devour the greek gnocchi style dish.
Is Gnocchi Lighter?
The first question you might be asking is “What is gnocchi”? Gnocchi is a type of pasta made of flour, eggs, and mashed potatoes.
So, is gnocchi lighter?
It is high in carbs and calories, and low in protein and other nutrients, so you can put it right there with pasta as a savory food that isn’t the most lighter thing to eat.
However, depending on the ingredients in the gnocchi you get or make, it can be lighter! Cauliflower gnocchi or sweet potato gnocchi are examples of healthier gnocchi options.
